Albanian Academy of Sciences and Arts Supports Archaeological Research in Visoko

Dr. Semir Osmanagić, the discoverer of the Bosnian pyramids, was received by the president of the Albanian Academy of Sciences, archaeologist Dr. Muzafer Korkuti, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Academician Korkuti acquainted Dr. Osmanagić with the work of the Academy and presented him with a monograph on the archaeology of Albania. On the other hand, Korkuti received from Osmanagić a gift of a collection of scientific papers on the Bosnian pyramids.

Afterwards, Dr. Osmanagić held a lecture at the Academy of Sciences for its members and guests, among whom were students of the University of Tirana.

During the lecture, Osmanagić emphasized the need to change history books in light of a series of new discoveries around the world. He called on the Albanian scientific community to intensify research into prehistoric phenomena on the soil of this country.

The gathering was also attended by a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation "Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" Muhamed Čatić, the president of the Board of Directors of the Albanian Institute for Islamic Studies and Civilization Dr. Faruk Borova, and the director of the Institute Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, reports NAP.
