If he holds the referendum, Dodik goes on the EU "black list"

If the announced referendum in Republika Srpska on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH takes place, Milorad Dodik and 30 other officials of Republika Srpska will end up on the European Union's "black list", the ministers of foreign affairs of Germany and Great Britain, Walter Steinmeier and Philip Hammond, conveyed to the President of Republika Srpska through diplomatic channels about ten days ago, reports the Patria News Agency.

- Dodik was informed that he and thirty other high-ranking officials of Republika Srpska and tycoons close to him will end up on the black list if the referendum on the decisions of the High Representative is held.

They also told him that all members of his family, except for his wife, would also end up on the black list. The assets of all these individuals would also be blocked by the same measures, according to sources familiar with the warning given by European officials to the President of Republika Srpska.

Also, they add that Republika Srpska could also come under severe sanctions if Dodik truly carries out his intentions and holds the referendum, concludes Slobodan Vasković in his blog.
