(Patria) - Predominantly wet or damp roads and increased vehicle traffic near major urban centers characterize the traffic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Reduced visibility due to fog is possible on some sections in valleys and along river courses. Due to rainfall, the risk of landslides or falling rocks onto the road has increased, so we call on drivers to be extra careful.
We pay special attention to the roads: Jablanica-Mostar-Doljani, Stolac-Neum, Dobro Polje-Miljevina-Brod na Drini, Mrkonjić Grad-Crna Rijeka, Jajce-Banja Luka, and Turbe-Skender Vakuf-Karanovac. We appeal to drivers to adjust their driving to the road conditions and remind them that possessing winter equipment is legally mandatory for all vehicle categories.
On the Ključ-Sanski Most section, due to bridge construction at the entrance to Sanski Most, near the Water Park, traffic is suspended and diverted to the bypass.
Construction work is underway at the entrance to Neum (Stolac-Neum), due to which traffic is suspended and diverted to the existing bypass (Dubrovačka Street).
Reconstruction work is also being carried out on the main roads: Grude-Vitina, Čevljanovići-Nišići, Rača-Bijeljina, as well as at the entrance to Bosanska Gradiška, and traffic is slow, one lane, at the work sites.
Waiting times at border crossings for passenger vehicles are short.
