If HDZ gets finance in FBiH, Dodik and Čović will profit from Bosniaks again!

The distribution of ministries in the Council of Ministers of BiH is known, but since it was announced which party will manage which department for the next four years, the public has been buzzing with the story that "SDA has nevertheless lost at the negotiating table what it gained in the elections," writes the Patria News Agency.

Namely, HDZ BiH, led by Dragan Čović, received three ministries: Defense, Justice, and Finance and Treasury. Also, cadres of this party will fill four deputy positions in the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Security, and Transport and Communications.

The Alliance for Change also received three ministries: Foreign Affairs, Security, and Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, as well as three deputy positions in the ministries of Civil Affairs, Defense, and Human Rights and Refugees.

In addition to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, SDA will also have two ministers: Civil Affairs and Human Rights and Refugees, as well as two deputy positions in the ministries of Justice and Finance and Treasury.

The Democratic Front received the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the position of Deputy Minister of Defense.

The distribution for the FBiH Government has not yet been finalized, and Dragan Čović again plays the main role in this, seeking to secure the most important ministries in the Federation through blackmail.

Fuad Kasumović, former Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH and a prominent member of SDA, says that the FBiH Government is a bigger problem for him than the Council of Ministers.

- The big danger in this regard is the following. If HDZ is given the Ministry of Finance in the Federation, it will happen that Milorad Dodik is absolutely in power because the two most important bodies at the state level are the Fiscal Council and the Indirect Taxation Authority. Ministers of Finance are ex officio members of both the Fiscal Council and the Management Board of the ITA. Therefore, it will happen that two Čović ministers and Dodik's Zoran Tegeltija (Minister of Finance in RS) are in the Fiscal Council and ITA, and then Dodik will rule as he rules – says Kasumović.

He adds that there is no doubt that for years "this so-called love" between Dodik and Čović has been driven by financial interest.

- For many years, they have simply been extracting money from the system at the expense of Bosniaks, keeping all financial flows in this country under their control. It is unimaginable that Bosniaks have never controlled any finances since after the war. The Ministry of Finance is more important than any other four ministries. From donations, grants, European funds, everything goes through the ministries of finance, and ministers decide. It will be a thousand times worse if HDZ is given the position of Minister of Finance at the FBiH level as well – added Kasumović.

Then, very honestly, Kasumović says that the time has come for Bosniaks to be "endangered".

- Croats and Čović have been saying for many years that Croats are endangered. And I propose, as I am a prominent member of the Bosniak people, the time has come for us Bosniaks to be endangered for a change, to take over what Croats hold at the FBiH level. The Ministry of Agriculture, which has nearly 100 million in subsidies and grants, the Ministry of Finance, and Justice, and I won't list further. I propose that we calm the Croats and say that we Bosniaks now want to be endangered so that we can change positions – emphasized Kasumović.

Kasumović sees the reason why Bosniaks did not get important positions in the Council of Ministers in the fact that SDA has always chosen ministries for people for many years, not ministries that will help citizens and voters.

- SDA always has that problem. It has certain cadres it wants to install, and then you cannot expect a political scientist to be a minister of finance. Simply, SDA chooses positions for its "deserving" ones, and these people cannot manage certain departments. That is a big problem, and it must change. I'm not saying that certain people shouldn't be satisfied, but there are other positions. Finally, we must now turn to true values. Especially now, because the greatest responsibility lies with SDA, and it will have to take, if it wants to do something for the people, adequate departments – added Kasumović.
