(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operational action codenamed "Zigi" with the aim of documenting the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.
During searches in the area of Stari Grad, three PVC packages containing a substance that resembles the narcotic drug speed, with a total mass of over 1,500 grams, two pistols, over 170 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, and numerous other items of interest to the investigation were found and seized.
Due to the grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and the criminal offense from Article 74 of the Law on Suppression of Drug Abuse in Sarajevo Canton, a man A.J. (1980) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty.
The suspect is undergoing criminal processing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
