Operation in East Sarajevo: Criminals communicated with police officers via Sky and avoided prosecution

(Patria) - Three arrested individuals G.G., M.M., and N.S. were handed over to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in East Sarajevo on Tuesday.

They were arrested in the East Sarajevo area as part of the ongoing operational action "Kode" for the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotics, discovered through the decryption of the Sky and Anom applications.

By deciphering the encrypted code, it was determined that certain police officers also communicated through these applications and provided information to the suspects, who thus avoided prosecution, the District Public Prosecutor's Office in East Sarajevo announced.

The arrested man, M.M., was previously arrested in November within the same operation, and after being released, he continued his criminal activities, which were uncovered by members of the East Sarajevo Police Administration.

The operation was carried out by members of the East Sarajevo Police Administration in cooperation with the Directorate for Combating Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and Europol.
