(Patria) - Police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operational action codenamed "Nova" with the aim of continuing activities to document the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.
During searches in the area of Novi Grad municipality, several PVC packages containing substances that resemble speed, ecstasy, and marijuana were found and seized, with a total mass of over 300 grams, a digital scale, mobile phones, and other items of interest to the investigation.
Due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, a man E.G. (1988) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty, while S.K. (1973) was deprived of his liberty due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Possession and Enabling the Use of Narcotic Drugs.
Suspect E.G. is undergoing criminal processing at the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, after which he will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
