MUP ZDK and MUP RS Operation: Searches at 15 Locations and in Teslić Area for Drugs

(Patria) - Police teams of the Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton (MUPZDK) started simultaneous searches at fifteen locations in the area of that canton early this morning. Searches are being conducted in the areas of Tešanj, Maglaj, and Usora, and at one location in the Teslić area.

This morning's searches are a continuation of an extensive police operation codenamed "META V", carried out by the Police Administration of the MUP of ZDK, and aimed at detecting and arresting individuals suspected of committing criminal offenses - "Association for the Commission of Criminal Offenses" under Article 340 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH and "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH, it was announced from the MUP of ZDK.

Activities within the "META V" operation are being undertaken in cooperation and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and actions are being taken based on orders from the municipal courts in Zavidovići and Tešanj. A part of the activities is being undertaken in cooperation with officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
