Operation 'Envelope': Ibrahim Obhođaš arrested for mediating in the appointment of the Director of JU Student Center Sarajevo

(Patria) - As part of the 'Envelope' operation, today after 2:00 PM, at Sarajevo International Airport, upon returning to BiH, police officers from the Department for Economic Crime and Corruption arrested a male suspect I.O. (1981).

The suspect will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo after criminal processing.

Ibrahim Obhođaš has been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of receiving gifts or other benefits,

namely, for mediating in the appointment of the Director of JU Student Center Sarajevo.

He will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo during the day, the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton announced.

Incidentally, Obhođaš is one of the coordinators of the movement For New Generations, and he was also a candidate for the director of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance, but that competition was annulled. His documentation was not in order, and it is evident that Obhođaš, on behalf of ZNG, traded positions, even though he had to submit a confirmation that he is not part of a political party's bodies for the competition.

The founder of ZNG is Damir Marjanović, current representative in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, who yesterday denied having a function in this movement, meaning he is no longer one of the coordinators.
