Operation 'Fog': Drugs found, 24-year-old arrested

(Patria) - Continuing planned activities to suppress the trafficking of narcotic drugs, police officers of the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, have realized an operational action codenamed "Fog".

During searches in the Ilidža area, several different packages of substances suspected to be cocaine, speed, and marijuana were found, totaling approximately 300 grams, along with a digital scale, grinders, and other items of interest to the investigation.

Due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and Forgery of Documents, D.A. (2001) was deprived of liberty, while M.M. (1981) was deprived of liberty for the criminal offense of Possession and Enabling the Use of Narcotic Drugs.

After criminal processing, the suspect D.A. will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
