Ajanović: Selman bought Čampara and that's why he was chosen as Director of the Development Bank

Salko Selman, the newly appointed director of the Development Bank of FBiH, has several criminal charges behind him that have been gathering dust in the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for three years, because two packages of documents concerning alleged criminal activities were delivered to prosecutor Dubravka Čampara by Besim Ajanović, former member of SDA and member of the Association "Whistleblowers" in SBK, writes the Patria news agency.

- Regarding my report to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH against Salko Selman, I was surprised that there was no response or reaction, as we filed the report on November 1, 2011. We filed criminal charges directly against Selman and the entire government at the time, and there were two packages of documents and allegations from our reports – says Ajanović.

As he further states, no one has contacted them to this day, and Dubravko Čampara took over the reports.

- Later, I saw in the media that his brother Aljoša was appointed deputy mayor of Sarajevo, and then some things became clearer to me. I understood what was going on, and it is likely that Čampara forwarded our allegations to the SDA headquarters, and they prohibited the investigation. Čampara's silence actually enabled Selman to reach the position of Director of the Development Bank. Regarding his criminal activities, we also informed the SDA headquarters, but we received no reaction from there either. No one deigned to contact us in any way – added Ajanović.

The report contains numerous irregularities, from nepotism, blackmail, to properties he owns. Everything has been documented since Selman headed the Social Activities Service for years.

- He was aware of all the criminal activities related to privatization. But, he used it to blackmail people. To make matters worse, he bought prosecutors and silenced everyone who knew what he was doing – added Ajanović.
