Swedish Minister of Education Aida Hadžialić has resigned after being caught driving under the influence of alcohol.
Hadžialić stated at a press conference that after dinner in Copenhagen, police stopped her on the bridge between Denmark and Sweden and found 0.2 per mille of alcohol in her blood.
The level of 0.2 per mille is the legal limit for drunk driving, a level that is low compared to most other countries.
- I want to resign because I believe that what I did is very serious - said Hadžialić.
