Ahmetović asks Zvizdić to prove support with MPs' signatures

MPs of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament today did not receive information from the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, on the current situation and relations with the parliamentary majority, which was the topic of the agenda. The Collegium of the House, consisting of MPs from SDA, HDZ, and SDS, who at the beginning of this session, interrupted last Thursday, were against discussing it, and did not offer MPs an explanation as to why there was no material for this item.

Because of this, Sadik Ahmetović, an MP from the Independent Bloc, reacted sharply. At his initiative, at last week's session, 23 MPs adopted a Proposal for Zvizdić to respond to the MPs' request.

- The Collegium did not bother to obtain such information, and due to the seriousness of the situation in this country, due to the responsibility that both you and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers have, you should have done it for the citizens of this country, because we all receive salaries here for it, you should have tried to get such information to the MPs. So, it would be good if we received such information in oral form as well. You probably agree on at least this, if you don't agree on the Pelješac Bridge, then you write letters and disgrace the state of BiH. What you are doing today is irresponsibility towards the institutions of BiH, irresponsibility towards the citizens of BiH because this country has its institutions, they are called the Parliament of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH, and the Council of Ministers must and should provide information at the request of this Parliament. These are the rules in all countries. Do not make a caricature of the state with your work. This is not a caricature, there are many people in this country who expect us to make this country function and for people to live better in this country - said Ahmetović.

Given that the will of more than half of the MPs of the House of Representatives was ignored today, Ahmetović proposed a conclusion that the House of Representatives task Denis Zvizdić to collect the signatures of the MPs by whom he has support and submit it to this house.

Conclusion on agenda item number 11: "The House of Representatives of the BiH PS tasks the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, to collect the signatures of the MPs whose support he has in his work by the next session, in order to make a decision on the status of the Council of Ministers in the coming period."
