Aganspahić continues his career in Osijek

Eighteen-year-old striker, Almir Aganspahić, has left the Academy of Football Club Sarajevo and will continue his football career with Football Club Osijek. Sarajevo and the ninth-placed team in the Croatian league have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the aforementioned player.

Almir Aganspahić was born in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, on September 12, 1996, and signed a contract with the Maroon Club in March 2013.

In the past two years, this young striker has made a total of four official appearances for Football Club Sarajevo, and played his first match in the penultimate round of the 2012/13 season. Namely, in the match in Mostar, against Zrinjski, Aganspahić entered the game in the 78th minute and, at 16 years and 242 days old, became one of the youngest debutants in the history of Football Club Sarajevo.

Almir Aganspahić is the second young footballer from the Academy of Football Club Sarajevo to have achieved an international transfer in the recent period. As a reminder, before him, thirteen-year-old Dal Varešanović swapped the jersey of Sarajevo's U-15 selection for the jersey of England's Liverpool.
