Adžem: The derby cost us a lot, but we are ready for a new victory

Željezničar will host Široki Brijeg in the 6th round of the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on that occasion a press conference was held, addressed by the head coach of the team from Grbavica, Admir Adžem, reports the Patria agency.

- We are facing a match against an opponent who is always unpleasant for us. Unpleasant because recently we have rarely achieved a positive result against them. Last season we lost 3:0 at home. We are aware that a very difficult task awaits us. One of the most important reasons is that the opponent plays in a system of play that is unusual for our league. Their advantage is that they want to play football, and I am quite sure they will not come here to defend.

They will try to outsmart us. They have an excellent sports segment, a very good coaching staff. Sablić, Karačić, Šilić and Hrgović, these are people who know what football is. They score a lot of goals, play quite offensively, have many solutions in attack, young players, potent ones who can be dangerous for the opponent. As I said, that system brings advantages, but that system also carries weaknesses that we will try to exploit.

We enter the match after the derby we won, and which, besides the three very important points, brought much more in terms of creating an atmosphere, positivity throughout the club, and also among the fans, who are a very important factor for our club. That is much more important than those three points. We expended a lot of energy in the derby, primarily because we played with ten men for a long time, which consumes much more energy. We also expended emotionally.

We used this week to recover as best as possible, to prepare tactically and to devise a tactic that will bring us three points. After the match, we will see if we succeeded. A very important factor in tomorrow's match will be our fans; all the stands will help us win. I haven't had the chance to congratulate them on the derby, because we won on the field, and they much more convincingly defeated their rivals in the stands. I congratulate them and wish that this continues in the upcoming matches, said Admir Adžem, adding:

- In the derby, we lost several players. Osmanković got injured on his own, not by the opponent. I hope he will recover quickly, he is strong. We lost Stanić, who suffered a terrible blow in the ninth minute, played excellently in the first half, but had pain in the second. He will not be available for this match. We also lost Ramović, a very important player, he did something stupid, we discussed it. Besides those three, we don't have Marković and Crnov, that's five very quality players who will be missed.
