Adžem: If we want to reach Europe, we must start winning immediately

Footballers of Željezničar will host Banja Luka's Borac tomorrow at Grbavica in the derby of the 4th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria agency.

On the occasion of tomorrow's match, a press conference was held at the club premises on Grbavica, where the head coach of the Blues, Admir Adžem, and new player Saša Kajkut, who was also officially presented as a new Željezničar player, spoke.

- Tomorrow we face the first derby match against a team that wasn't here last year. It will be a tough match, they have a good atmosphere, the city has risen, and people are talking about Borac again. We know they have many experienced players, that they are a well-assembled team, and that they have dangerous wide players who are fast. Likewise, we know that we also have plenty of quality solutions that can get the job done and achieve the goal, which is victory – said Željezničar's coach Adžem.

Adžem added that Željezničar's philosophy is to build the game, and that this must start immediately in order to once again secure a place in Europe.

- It's important that we know what we're doing. I arrived the day before the championship, and knowing the schedule we have, I tried in the first three rounds to get as much information as possible about each player individually. The only way to do that is for the player to play. This league will be quite demanding, there are no easy matches here, which is why the match against Vitez was tough. They came with the intention of defending. I also know that the problem of Bosnian football is positional attack, and that's a deeper topic, because even in youth teams, clubs already play on counterattacks. Željezničar's philosophy is to build the game. We have to do it, it won't be easy, but to keep pace with Europe, we must start now – said Adžem.

The new player of the club from Grbavica, Saša Kajkut, a former Borac player, said that he is extremely pleased to have arrived at a club like Željezničar and that he will give his all to justify the trust.

- I can only say that I am extremely pleased to have become part of this great club. I will strive to justify the trust of the coaching staff and management and give my all to achieve the best possible results – emphasized Saša Kajkut, the new player of the Blues.

The match between Željezničar and Borac will be played at Grbavica on Saturday at 20:30.
