Lawyer Feraget receives death threats over Dragičević case

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Lawyer Ifet Feraget, a member of the international legal team representing the family of murdered youth David Dragičević, has received death threats in connection with the case.

As Feraget told the Patria agency, an unknown man approached him in Sarajevo and told him not to appear in Banja Luka. He went anyway, stating that he had not faced threats of this kind while working on the Dženan Memić case, but that he is not afraid.

- I did not report the threats to our police agencies because I do not trust them - Feraget told Patria.

On Tuesday, an international team of lawyers was presented at Krajina Square in Banja Luka, and on Wednesday, they held a meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukač, Chief Prosecutor Želimir Lepir, and members of the Inquiry Committee. Feraget emphasizes that they have received the materials to read, and they will meet again in Banja Luka next week to determine further steps.

Besides Feraget, the international team in the Dragičević case includes lawyers Duško Tomić, Anto Nobilo from Croatia, and Zora Dobričanin Nikodinović from Serbia.

David Dragičević's father, Davor, claims his son was murdered, and only at the beginning of July did the District Public Prosecutor's Office reclassify the crime as murder by an unknown perpetrator. For more than five months, citizens' protests have been held at Krajina Square (David's Square), demanding the truth about his death.
