Adnan Konjo must return 121,639 KM to Sarajevogas

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH rejected the appeal of the defense attorney of the accused Adnan Konjo and confirmed the verdict of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, by which he was sentenced to three years in prison for the criminal offense of embezzlement in office.

Adnan Konjo was convicted of appropriating money from 4,334 natural gas users in the amount of 121,639.35 KM, while working as a cashier at KJKP "Sarajevogas" from August 14 to 31, 2012, during the collection of bills. He duly stamped the paid bills with the company's seal and his initials as confirmation that the payment had been made to Sarajevogas.

By doing so, he obtained unlawful property gain in the amount of 121,639.35 KM, which he is obliged to pay to the damaged party, Sarajevogas, by the verdict.
