Adnan Busuladžić elected Acting Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy UNSA

(Patria) - The Teaching and Scientific Council of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo today elected an acting dean by majority vote after Dean Kenan Šljivo resigned from that position a few days ago.

Adnan Busuladžić, a full professor and vice-dean for financial and organizational affairs at the Faculty of Philosophy UNSA, was elected acting dean. Busuladžić is also a former director of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind you that the former dean Šljivo signed the request submitted by 13 deans calling for an extraordinary session of the UNSA Senate and the election of an acting rector of UNSA because they do not recognize the legality of Tarik Zaimović.

However, last week both regular and extraordinary sessions were held, which these deans did not attend, and the Senate, with 33 votes in favor, supported Rector Zaimović, confirming that it stands behind the decision on the election of the rector made at the session on July 3.

The group of deans who are against Rector Zaimović claimed that they represent the largest number of employees and students, but according to Patria's information, at least in the case of the Faculty of Philosophy, Dean Šljivo signed without the knowledge of the Faculty of Philosophy Council.
