Ademaj: I did not dismiss director Sebija Izetbegović

Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton Zilha Ademaj at today's session of the KS Assembly referred to the „document“ that appeared pasted in several departments of UKCS on Friday, May 27, reports the Patria news agency.

Also, that „document“, allegedly a request from the Ministry of Health, signed by Minister Ademaj, is a request for the dismissal of UKCS director Dr. Sebija Izetbegović and the Management Board of this healthcare institution.

- I responsibly claim that this is a falsified document which mentions the dismissal of Director Izetbegović and the UKCS management, due to allegedly caused chaos in the healthcare system of Sarajevo Canton, endangering citizens and the like. It is a scanned document and my forged signature - that is clearly visible, said Minister Ademaj.

- I will take all legal measures to investigate this case, because it involves document forgery, which is a criminal offense, Ademaj stated.

She also said that she finds it symptomatic that the content of that „document“ almost matches the content of a letter sent to her as minister from the Medical Chamber of KS, after which she convened a meeting that very day with the directors of all healthcare institutions in Sarajevo Canton, in order to resolve certain issues.

This „document“ from Friday, when it was pasted at UKCS clinics, also began circulating on social media.
