Adel Halilović leads Radomlje towards the First League

Adel Halilović, former U17 and U19 national team player of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is shining this season in the jersey of Slovenian second-tier club Radomlje. In the last round, this sturdy defender also scored in his team's away victory against Rogaška.

We have achieved a streak of five consecutive victories. We are second in the standings, with the same number of points as Mura. After a somewhat weaker start, we have found the right rhythm. Besides, we are the most effective team in the league. Our goal is to return to the First League, where we objectively belong.

Adel joined this club in the summer transfer window.

- I have settled in very well. I have earned a starting position. The club is also doing well. I made an excellent choice by deciding to continue my career in Slovenia - says the footballer.

He is not the only Bosnian in the club.

- We are led by Nermin Bašić from the bench. A young and ambitious coach, and my teammate is Anel Hajrić - says Halilović.

Radomlje's next match is against Olimpija in the round of 16 of the Slovenian Cup.

- They are currently the leaders in the First League. However, we are playing at home and should be optimistic. We know that Olimpija is a serious team. Along with Maribor, they are the best in Slovenia. This match will be very useful for us to see what our ultimate limits are - emphasizes Halilović.

In the next league round, the team managed by the former coach of Travnik, Metalleghe, and Sloga from Simin Han will seek to continue their winning streak.

- Nafta is coming to visit us. We are the favorites, and I believe we will achieve our sixth consecutive league victory and continue our pursuit of our ultimate goal.

Adel is in good form. Therefore, it is not surprising that he hopes for a call-up from coach Vinko Marinović.

I am eligible to play for the U21 national team. I have been in excellent form lately. After playing for the younger national team selections, I would like to receive a call-up for the U21 team as well - stated Adel Halilović, who can successfully play in multiple positions in the team, and is best at right-back.
