Aćimović: SDP BiH will institutionally help Serbs in FBiH

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Draško Aćimović, Vice-President of SDP BiH, made a statement on the need for equality and institutional protection of Serbs in the Federation of BiH.

"SDP will do everything to institutionally protect the constitutionally guaranteed rights of Serbs in the Federation, just as it does everything to protect the rights of Bosniaks and Croats in Republika Srpska. Only by respecting rights and laws can we make all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina feel equal and free.

No one needs calls for hatred and instilling fear in anyone anymore. For SDP, the fight for the rights of all citizens, including citizens of Serb nationality in the Federation, is very important, and we will do everything to ensure that their participation in government, after the elections, through SDP, is a sufficient guarantee that they can influence all issues of importance to them institutionally and equally.

It is time to start living equally and freely throughout the territory of BiH. We call on all parties from BiH to cooperate with SDP, using legal and political methods, to improve the position of all peoples in every corner of this country, and not to cause harm by creating scandals and raising tensions," said Aćimović.
