71 years since the second session of ZAVNOBiH, it was envisioned that all citizens in BiH would have equal rights

The State Anti-Fascist Council of National Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZAVNOBiH) was the highest state body of the anti-fascist movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Second World War, which developed as the bearer of Bosnian-Herzegovinian statehood. It was formed in November 1943, and its president was Vojislav Kecmanović.

The second session of ZAVNOBiH began on this day, June 30, and lasted until July 2, 1944, in Sanski Most, where on July 1, 1944, a declaration on the rights of all citizens in BiH was adopted.

A total of three sessions of ZAVNOBiH were held: the first in Mrkonjić Grad on November 25, 1943 (now Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina), the second in Sanski Most on June 30, 1944, and the third and last in Sarajevo on April 26, 1945, reports NAP.
