51-year-old B.B. bitten by stray dogs in Sedrenik

In the area of the old town settlement of Sedrenik this morning around 11 AM, B.B. (born 1963) was attacked by a pack of stray dogs, and received assistance at the Clinic for Urgent Medicine, confirmed Muamera Šehić, spokesperson for the University Clinical Center for the BiH news agency Patria.

- The dog bit her fourth finger on her right hand, and then she was referred to an infectologist for further tests - Šehić said.

The patient was advised to visit her family doctor for a check-up and to receive necessary therapy if needed.

Otherwise, in the last few days, attacks by stray dogs on Sarajevo streets have become more frequent, and children suffer the greatest trauma from close encounters with dogs on their way to school.
