On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the post-war opening of Sarajevo International Airport for civil air traffic, a promotion of the documentary film REBORN is being organized, writes the Patria agency.
After the war events and the complete destruction of airport capacities, Sarajevo Airport was reopened for civil traffic on August 15, 1996. This significant anniversary will be marked by a ceremonial promotion of the documentary film. The film recalls the distant past of the sixties, when Sarajevo International Airport was first built and opened, and emphasizes its second birth and ambitious development towards becoming a respectable company and business partner recognized by many world and European airlines.
The promotion will be held on August 16 at the Airport restaurant, and the film is produced by Television Sarajevo, authored by Edita Sulejmanović.
