18 VOTES WITHOUT SBB: The "Four" are preparing the program for the new Sarajevo Canton Government, and then a request for dismissal

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The "Four" have 18 votes in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly to dismiss the current SC Government, but we are not going to rush into that Government based on having 18 votes, but rather we want to create a program again, said Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP BiH, when asked about the dismissal of the SC Government. 

“For about ten days, our teams have been working on a program for the future cantonal government, a program that will be reduced from 300 measures from the first time we formed the Government and which will have an answer to the current situation we have regarding the pandemic. I can say that I am glad that there are representatives who feel responsibility towards this country and are trying to rise above narrow party interests,” said Nikšić. 

The SDP president confirmed that there will be no new Government before the local elections on November 15, and that the 18 representatives do not include representatives from SBB. 

“We will submit these signatures as soon as we finish our program, and then it will take about a month, a month and a half,” said Nikšić. 

When asked if they would change the leadership of the Assembly before submitting the request for the Government's dismissal, Nikšić said that it has already been demonstrated that there is no current parliamentary majority supporting this Government. 

“It is only a technical issue. I will not prejudge now, but it is quite certain that at the first opportunity we will adopt some conclusions at the session of the cantonal assembly in which we will state that there is no parliamentary majority, that this Government does not have support, and that we will limit this Government's recklessness that we have at the moment,” said Nikšić.
