ON DECEMBER 13 AND 14, 20 LEADING BH EXPERTS IN THE WORLD AND MORE THAN 200 STUDENTS FROM BiH WILL COME TO FLS IN SARAJEVO

(Patria) - As part of the 4th edition of the Futures Leaders Summit (FLS) organized by the BH Futures Foundation, Sarajevo will be the meeting place on December 13 and 14 for 20 leading BH experts with global careers, and more than 200 students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will have the opportunity to learn from them.

The Futures Leaders Summit, whose theme this year is "From BiH to the World: Leadership in Research, Technology, and Entrepreneurship", aims to open paths for generations of change-makers who will transform Bosnia and Herzegovina into a prosperous nation.

"Since its inception, the BH Futures Foundation has had a long-term goal of growing into a community of 10,000 change-makers striving to improve the quality of life in our country by 2030. We are trying to achieve this goal by providing young people with mentorship, education in technical fields, and additional opportunities for professional development, such as the Futures Leaders Summit conference, which will bring together representatives of Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies and our students in one place in December, all with the aim of students getting to know the opportunities in our labor market better. FLS, as in all previous years, is free for students, for whom we have provided transportation and accommodation if they are coming from outside Sarajevo," stated the BH Futures Foundation.

FLS begins on Friday, December 13, at the Holiday Inn hotel with a series of great news, programs, and participants. Among others, the former US Ambassador to BiH, Eric Nelson, will address the attendees, and Namik Hrle, Vice President of Development in IBM's Software division and Director of the Development Laboratory in Germany, will also speak.

The "Vera Šnajder" award will also be presented in the form of travel assistance (up to 6,000 KM) to two outstanding female students of natural/technical sciences in Bosnia and Herzegovina (undergraduate, master's, or doctoral studies).
