Zvizdić – Čeferin: Full support of the BiH Council of Ministers for activities of the FA of BiH and UEFA

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić received the President of UEFA Aleksander Čeferin in Sarajevo today.

They discussed the prospects for football development in BiH and emphasized the importance of sport, especially football, in youth development. They agreed that quality sports infrastructure is essential for the future development and improvement of football in BiH.

President Čeferin praised the work of the Football Association of BiH and stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina has an exceptionally respectable national team. He said that the main problem lies in infrastructure and expressed UEFA's readiness to provide assistance and support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, both in the promotion and development of football, and in infrastructure development. He also highlighted the need for even greater involvement of children and young people in training and sports education.

Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers of BiH will provide full support to the activities that the Football Association of BiH is implementing with UEFA.

The meeting was also attended by UEFA Director of National Associations Zoran Laković and President of the Football Association of BiH Elvedin Begić.
