THEY ARE IN A HURRY New FERK session on June 28, increase in electricity price again on the agenda

(Patria) - After the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation confirmed the appointment of new members of the Regulatory Commission for Energy of FBiH (FERK) yesterday, a new session of this body has been scheduled.

Thus, FERK will convene on June 28, and the session will consider the request of Elektroprivreda BiH for an electricity price increase, i.e., the introduction of a three-tariff model.

We remind you that the previous composition of FERK rejected requests for a linear price increase for households and other consumers twice.

The proposed percentage of linear increase, determined after reviewing the rejected pricing model, is 10% for households and 8.1% for other consumers at 0.4 kV, including energy and grid fees.

Otherwise, the new composition of FERK includes Samir Hadžihusejnović, a member of SDP, Sanela Pokrajčić (HDZ), and Vesna Marić (HDZ). The decision on their appointment must be published in the Official Gazette, which should be done by June 28, when the session will be held and most likely a decision on the electricity price increase will be made.
