Zukan requests extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of FBiH on Wednesday, will the Rules of Procedure be attacked again?

(Patria) - Belmin Zukan, a representative of the Social Democratic Party of BiH in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament announced that he will submit a request for an urgent session of that house today.

Zukan, as a guest on the morning program of Federal Television, stated that he will send a request to the presidents of the parliamentary party clubs and the leadership of the House of Representatives for an urgent, or extraordinary, session to be held on Wednesday, December 13.

He cited the situation in the working bodies of the House as the reason, which prevents the current majority from introducing amendments to the Rules of Procedure, as well as electing Marin Vukoja to the Constitutional Court of BiH.

Eldar Čomor, an SDA representative, told Patria that the majority is obviously trying to get new Rules of Procedure by violating the existing ones.

“We expect more information tomorrow, but that is an assumption that they are trying,” Čomor said.

We remind you that the ruling majority has submitted a proposal for the Rules of Procedure that significantly limits the possibilities for parliamentarians to participate in the session, and this proposal has been characterized as dictatorial.

The proposed amendments to the Rules of Procedure are also part of the plan concerning the appointment of Marin Vukoja to the Constitutional Court of BiH, as the majority wants to co-opt members of the working bodies and thus ensure the passage of their intentions.
