Zubac evicts US ICITAP from SIPA building!

Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SIPA) Goran Zubac has withdrawn hospitality from officials of the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) of the US Department of Justice for working in the SIPA building in East Sarajevo, the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) has unofficially learned from reliable sources.

Zubac, as we have learned, told the employees of this agency, which has been technically and logistically assisting all law enforcement agencies in BiH for years, that they can no longer use the official premises of SIPA and must move to another location.

This move has also shocked the leaders of the ICITAP program, which is why, as we have learned, they have informed their superiors at the US Department of Justice. However, Director Zubac's action is a continuation of the relationship of personnel controlled by the smaller entity in BiH towards this agency. Namely, as our sources point out, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska has also not allowed this agency to work in its official premises for a long time.

We tried to get a comment from the SIPA Public Relations Service on this information, but we have not yet received a response.
