Zubac will soon be heard as a suspect!

Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Goran Zubac will soon be heard at the BiH Prosecutor's Office as a suspect in the investigation against him for negligence in service during the demonstrations and attacks on the BiH Presidency, confirmed for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) Miroslav Marković, state prosecutor.

According to him, the investigation against the SIPA director is proceeding at a regular pace, and documentation is being collected, from newspaper articles to recordings made on February 7 in front of the BiH Presidency and the Sarajevo Cantonal Government building.

- Zubac will be heard as a suspect. Of course, Himzo Selimović, director of the Directorate for Police Coordination of BiH, will also be heard regarding the circumstances of those events. Things are quite clear there, and it is evident from the regulations what each person was supposed to do and whose job it was, and it is known how each person acted – says Marković.

However, prosecutor Marković says that the investigation will also go in another direction, and individual federal and cantonal ministers, as well as mayors, will be heard to determine the nature of the events of that day.

- The documents speak for themselves, but it is also necessary to determine the nature of that attack on the BiH Presidency in this case – says Marković.

He notes that, independently of his investigation against Zubac, who refused to accept Selimović's request for SIPA to intervene and defend the BiH Presidency from the attack of hooligans who were setting everything on fire, an investigation into the attack itself is also underway. We remind you that the Federal Police Administration filed a criminal complaint against unknown persons for a terrorist attack in which state property was severely damaged and the state flag was set on fire.
