
The air quality index in Sarajevo at 9 a.m. this morning is 159 and is marked as unhealthy, according to data from the website ekoakcija.org, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- Increased symptoms may occur in patients with lung diseases, such as asthma, as well as respiratory effects in the general population - it was stated.
Patients with lung or heart diseases, pregnant women, children, and the elderly should reduce any physical activities outdoors. Everyone else should avoid prolonged or heavy exertion while outdoors.
HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF
Avoid outdoor activities that could make breathing difficult or reduce outdoor activities. Adjust activities, e.g., walk instead of run.
Be sure to reduce your activity level if any unusual cough, chest pain, restlessness, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, or unusual fatigue occurs.
