The Dragons celebrated in the match against Turkey

Today in Kakanj, the U-21 national team of BiH defeated the corresponding selection of Turkey 2:1 in a friendly match.

Both goals for our team were scored by captain Armin Hodžić in the 8th and 45th minutes, while the scorer for Turkey was Atabey Cicek in the 28th minute.

After the match, coach Darko Nestorović stated:

- It is a great thing for me that this match was played here in Kakanj, where I was born and at the stadium where I started my career. We defeated an extremely strong Turkish team and I am satisfied. Besides the goals, we had a few more good chances.

The double scorer Armin Hodžić said:

- I am happy about the victory. It's good that no one got injured because the field was difficult to play on. This is our first gathering, we are still coordinating, and I think we can be satisfied with what we have done.
