Zmajevi believe in victory, Džeko's arrival uncertain

A press conference was held at the NS BiH Training Centre, addressed by selector Mehmed Baždarević and player Anel Hadžić, reports a reporter from the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- I hope we will find an answer and that we have the strength, the match is important, Wales is first and has a good run. He also said that they were worried because some players had not had playing time in their clubs, but that he is encouraged by the fact that Spahić and Bičakčić played and confirmed their form.

- 7-8 players have arrived, by evening everyone will be here except for two who are playing tonight and Begović who arrives around 9 PM. We are still waiting to see what is happening with Lulić, I don't want to give information that is not in my domain, but I want him to get well - said the selector.

He also addressed the handicap due to Edin Džeko not playing, who is still in Rome waiting for an examination after which he will know whether he will travel to BiH, as well as Muhamed Bešić, and possibly Lulić.

- In football, this can be compensated for, I believe he will be with us, except for Bešić. It is certain that the public expects a lot, and we also want them to cheer us on, and we must give them reasons for that, so no national team finds it easy to come to Zenica - said Baždarević, who emphasized that one training session will be open to the public.

Hadžić said that the atmosphere is good as always, but that a difficult match awaits them.

- We understand the importance and we will prepare well. It will be difficult but we are ready. I am ready to give 100% for the national team wherever I play, we have a lot of players, wherever I play I will give my all. Wales will come as the group leader, the fans are the 12th player. We are motivated and we will win three points. We must play as one, if we succeed, that is our strongest asset - said Hadžić.
