The Dragons Aim for Victory Against Estonia Tonight

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team is playing against the Estonian selection tonight, as part of the 1st round of Group H qualifiers for the World Cup to be held in Russia in 2018, writes NAP.

Coach Mehmed Baždarević's team believes they will defeat their opponent at Bilino Polje, thus gaining additional motivation for the upcoming matches.

Bosnia and Herzegovina held its last training session before the match with Estonia yesterday at the Training Center of the Football Association of BiH in Zenica, and prior to that, a press conference was held at Bilino Polje where Mehmed Baždarević, Edin Džeko, and Emir Spahić addressed the journalists.

- The team is mostly composed of players who have played before, and we have added some younger players - said Baždarević.

Regarding the match, Baždarević added:

- We are ambitious, but also cautious. We have a plan and we have worked diligently to cause problems for the opponent. We are ambitious because we want to start the qualifiers with a victory, and cautious because the opponent also has quality. The qualifiers are long, and it is important to achieve the desired outcome at the beginning.

In a previous encounter, BiH defeated Estonia 7-0, with Edin Džeko scoring two goals:

- In that match, we achieved a historic result, but it is difficult to repeat such a game today. It is important for us to open the qualifiers in the right way and secure three points - the captain of the BiH team told reporters.

Emir Spahić also emphasized the importance of a good start to this cycle:

- It is very important to start the qualifiers with a victory, and we will do everything in our power to make that happen - said Spahić.
