Dragons to gather in Sarajevo on Monday

SARAJEVO, ZENICA, (Patria) – The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team will gather in Sarajevo on Monday ahead of the qualifying matches against Armenia and Greece on March 23 and 26 for the European Championship. The match against Armenia will be played at the Grbavica Stadium, and against Greece at Bilino Polje in Zenica. 

There is great interest among fans for both matches, and Robert Prosinečki's selected players will have five training sessions before the match against Armenia. They will train at the FK Sarajevo Camp in Butmir, while on Friday they will train at the Grbavica Stadium. The match is played on Saturday at 20:45.

On Sunday afternoon, a training session will be held in Zenica, and on Monday at Bilino Polje. The match starts on Tuesday at 20:45. 

Coach Prosinečki emphasized that every match is important, but that it is important to make a good start.

„For that reason, the first two matches are important to us, especially since we are playing at home. Armenia is not a team that could interfere in the fight for the top two spots, but it is a national team eager to prove itself and it will not be easy against them. Greece is a tricky team that has caused problems for many selections in recent years, including Bosnia and Herzegovina. They have quality, their players play in good clubs. In the Nations League we achieved a good result and I expect that in the qualifiers we will continue to play at that level.“
