The Dragons are ready for the match against Gibraltar

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues the qualifying matches for the World Cup in Russia next year with a duel against Gibraltar on Saturday at Bilino Polje in Zenica.

Assistant coach Igor Janković told reporters at a press conference that preparations for Saturday are going as well as possible.

- We are working to be ready for the match. We are a better team, we want to record a victory and take three points. We will certainly play offensively – said Janković. He added that every opponent should be taken seriously, including the Gibraltar selection.

- The players are aware that we need those three points for the playoffs – added Janković.

Vedad Ibišević said that standard players like Džeko, Spahić... will not be in the team, but there are young players who want to win. The atmosphere in the team is excellent.

- We are certainly missing players, but we have to play well and not allow any surprises. Our goal is to score a goal immediately. The attacking players are in excellent form. Everyone is equally waiting for a chance – said Ibišević.

He invited the fans to support them from the stands.

Rade Krunić recalled the nasty blow he received in the match against Napoli, but hopes for an excellent match on Saturday.

- I trained alone for two training sessions, the last one with the team, and I think I am ready. I am satisfied with how I am playing and I hope for more playing time in the national team. Regardless of Gibraltar being a weaker team, we have to approach the match very seriously – said Kunić.

The youngest member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina team, Amer Gojak, is also eagerly awaiting the match. He thanked the coach for the call-up to the national team. He said his dream has come true. The team has accepted him very well, he feels like he has been playing with the team for ten years, writes Patria.
