Dragons want to get revenge on Swedes in Zenica

The BiH basketball team plays a match against Sweden today in the 4th round of Group A of the pre-qualifiers for the 2019 World Cup in China.

The match will be played in Zenica's arena “Husejin Smajlović” starting at 8 PM. In the first match, the Swedes celebrated at home with a score of 81:73, but the difference was mostly due to our team's poor play in the final moments of the game.

After the loss to Sweden, Duško Vujošević's team recorded two home wins against Slovakia (84:71) and Armenia (98:85).

After three rounds played in Group A, the BiH team is the leader with five points, the same as second-placed Armenia. They are followed by Sweden and Slovakia, each with four points. Interestingly, the only loss our selection has suffered so far was inflicted by Sweden.

The top two teams from each of the four pre-qualifying groups will advance to the World Cup qualifiers.
