Dragons seek redemption against Luxembourg after poor performance against Georgia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play a friendly match against Luxembourg tonight at 8:45 PM at the "Bilino polje" stadium in Zenica.

The BiH national team has won all six previous encounters against Luxembourg, two of which were qualifiers and four friendlies.

The first match between the Dragons and Luxembourg was played 19 years ago as part of the qualifiers for the 2004 European Championship, in which BiH won 2-0.

In the same year, BiH achieved a minimal victory at the "Josy Barthel" stadium in Luxembourg.

Luxembourg was defeated by BiH 2-1 in the first friendly match on March 31, 2004, at the same stadium.

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team celebrated two more victories in the qualifiers for the 2012 European Championship, winning away 3-0 and then 5-0 at Bilino polje.

The last mutual encounter was played at Bilino polje in 2016, when BiH won 3-0.

We remind you that our team was defeated by Georgia 0-1 in Zenica on Friday.
