Dragons Leave BiH, But Send a Message: We Carry Bosnia With Us

A farewell press conference was held at Sarajevo International Airport for the BiH national football team, the Dragons, who after completing their preparations in BiH are heading for a tour in the United States where they will play two friendly matches against Ivory Coast and Mexico before the start of the World Cup in Brazil, writes Patria.

Elvedin Begić, president of the Football Association of BiH, said that these guys are the best that BiH has at the moment, and that we should support them in Brazil.

- Whatever happens, we should always remember the good times. Otherwise, these preparations were marked by a series of activities that we all undertook together to help the people affected by the floods, even if just a little. These guys will ensure that the world never forgets us - Begić said.

Safet Sušić, the coach of the BiH national football team, emphasized that he is satisfied with the players' attitude during these preparations and expects them to give their all in Brazil.

- I promise you that they will behave accordingly. As for the players, they are fully prepared, even if the championship were to start tomorrow. I didn't want to take risks, so every time someone complained of an injury, I rested them. Fortunately, there were no major problems, and I hope it stays that way. The atmosphere is ideal and will remain so until the end - said Sušić, adding that they will confirm their work in Sarajevo in the preparatory matches.

Emir Spahić, captain of the BiH national team, said that they are leaving BiH satisfied, but that they carry Bosnia with them.

- We will have an extra motivation because of the floods and everything that has recently befallen BiH, but for us, this will be an incentive to give even more of ourselves - said Spahić.

They took off from Sarajevo Airport at 11:30 AM as planned.

The Dragons have left for the USA, and then for the World Cup in Brazil
