Dragons held a training session, Kodro expects a win

(Patria) - The "A" national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina held an official training session today at the "Laugardalsvöllur" stadium in Reykjavik ahead of the match with Iceland, preceded by a press conference.

Coach Meho Kodro and goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić addressed the media.

"We expect a tough match. We know the opponent well and we know their situation, but we are also in a position where we must seek points, and that's how we will approach it. We have a good team in front of us that perhaps hasn't had luck in the last few games. We respect them, but we believe in our abilities and in winning tomorrow's match."

The coach said they watched their qualifying matches.

"They have interesting players and can cause us problems if we give them space. I expect us to prevent those qualities. It won't be easy, but we came to play a quality match and to win."

When asked if there would be changes in the lineup compared to the previous match, the coach emphasized:

"There will be some changes, but we can't talk about that now. Against Liechtenstein, we played more offensively, but tomorrow we expect a different opponent. We will adapt a little to the opponent, but we will pay more attention to our strengths. So there will be changes, but not radical ones compared to the last match."

Ibrahim Šehić said that our situation is such that we go from match to match, and each one is the most important.

"Our goal is to reach a situation where we decide our own fate, and it's important that we won three points against Liechtenstein. Tomorrow, we expect a completely different match and a different opponent. Iceland has a good team, we have a young team, and every match is important to us. We will give our all to win tomorrow."

When asked if the players are under pressure, Šehić answered:

"There is always pressure when playing for the national team, but it's also the most beautiful feeling. There is nothing comparable to the feeling when you make your country's people happy. There is pressure, we put ourselves in this situation, and we will get ourselves out of it. I hope that tomorrow, with that energy and positive attitude, we will go out on the field and win three points."
