The Bosnia and Herzegovina handball team will today, as part of the playoff matches for the 2017 World Championship in France, test their strength against the Swedish national team, which ahead of this match is weakened by the absence of several regular players, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The second match will be played on Wednesday, June 15 in Sarajevo. It is certain that the handball Dragons will have great support from the stands, both from the fan group BH Fanaticos and from the Bosnian diaspora, a large number of whom live in Sweden. Groups of fans have already arrived and are supporting BiH, Sarajevo, Zenica, Srebrenik...
Coach Dragan Marković, before leaving for Sweden, announced that this will be a tough match, but that the players will give their all. This is the third playoff since Marković has been leading the Bosnian national team.
- These players are raised to give their all, and to think only about victory regardless of who is opposite us. Heart on the pitch and may God decide. We have our own style of play, we have a very good attack, we showed against the Danes that we can do it - said Marković.
The match starts at 13:30 with a live broadcast on BHT.
