(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 34th session today, did not certify the application for participation in the 2026 General Elections for the party Snaga naroda – Ramo Isak for the state level of government due to forged signatures, and also for the level of the NSRs. However, Snaga naroda will be able to participate in the elections for 10 cantons and the federal level.
It was not certified for the state level because they have many invalid signatures, i.e., abuses of signatures and forgeries were established.
“We will act in accordance with the law and certify even such political entities for some lower levels, but this widespread phenomenon is shameful given that we have participants in the electoral process who may tomorrow hold important positions,” said CIK member Željko Bakalar at the session.
At the previous CIK session, a conclusion was reached that all those who forged signatures would be reported to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for forgery and abuse of signatures.
The party “Most 21”, behind which stands Amir Reko who planned to nominate Amir Pašić Faća in the elections, did not receive certification of its application for any level of government because they do not have enough signatures.
BPS of Sefer Halilović was certified only for the Tuzla Canton and for no other level of government.
Naša stranka was certified for all levels after settling the debt for imposed fines, as was SDS for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the president and vice-president of the NSRs.
