Zlatan Šibčić, BH footballer in Austria: Turks want striker from Vitez

BH football international Zlatan Šibčić could leave Austria next summer and play in the Turkish second league.

In Austria, Zlatan came into the spotlight two seasons ago after mercilessly rattling the opponents' nets.

Namely, playing for the team SV Albania, he managed to score 40 goals in 21 matches played, which no one has ever done in Austrian football across all competition levels.

The striker born in Vitez is now wanted by Goztepe, and Šibčić, who has a contract with Rapid Vienna until November this year, has nothing against changing his environment. Besides this club, several others are interested in the BH striker.

-I am on loan at third-division side WAF Brigittenau and it is certain that I will not stay here. Rapid sent me to their B team, but they are in an even lower league, so until summer it is better for me to stay here, and then look to move to a better club.

It is not bad for me here either, I am playing well, the club is satisfied, but I think I am now at a mature age and it is time to move on. If an opportunity for a better engagement arises, I would go, why not, says Šibčić.

Zlatan has so far played for Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic, České Budějovice, FSV Frankfurt, Donau, and Turkey would be the fourth country where he has built his career.
