(Patria) - Bosnian-Herzegovinian singer-songwriter and music author Zlatan Fazlić Fazla has released a new original song titled "1425 Days".
This new Fazla composition is the lead single of his new musical work, on which he has been working in recent months, and which will be entirely dedicated to the days of the Siege of Sarajevo.
- Sketches for these songs were created thirty years ago, and they recently took their final form. I guess it took me all that time to digest, process, and shape what we went through into a musical work.
All the time after the siege, all these years, I somehow always felt that I had a duty to do this, to make these songs, for all those who went through the Siege of Sarajevo, for all who survived and for those who did not. It had to come out of me somehow - says Fazla.
Fazla is the author of the music, lyrics, and arrangement for the song "1425 Days". The recording was done in the TO PROFI studio, the song was mixed by Adnan Mušanović, and the female vocal is by Aida Mušanović-Arsić.
The photos are the work of the famous war photographer Danilo Krstanović, and the video was created by Alan Savić.
Fazla continues to work in the studio on new songs from this cycle.
