Živko Matuško receives unanimous support for president of HDZ in Neum

NEUM, (Patria) - Živko Matuško, who previously headed the Neum HDZ, was unanimously elected president of the Municipal Committee of HDZ BiH Neum. His vice-presidents were unanimously elected: Milan Njavro, Zorica Sentić and Ivan Knežević, Stjepan Zovko as secretary and Ante Sentić as treasurer, the HDZ announced.

On behalf of this Municipal Committee, Živko Matuško and Branimir Butigan were unanimously elected as representatives to the Cantonal Committee of HDZ BiH for the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

At the meeting, held on Friday at the Grand Hotel Neum, it was agreed that all HDZ BiH Neum councilors would be invited to the next session of the Municipal Committee of HDZ BiH. The aim of such a meeting is to find solutions for certain problems and disagreements within the party.

Internal party elections are underway in HDZ BiH, during which party bodies are being elected, including the leadership and bodies of the municipal organizations of HDZ BiH.

At the end of April, Dragan Čović was re-elected as president of HDZ BiH.
