KJKP Rad Winter Service on Standby Due to Forecasted Heavy Snowfall

(Patria) - The Cantonal Public Utility Company (KJKP) Rad from Sarajevo announced that the Winter Service teams are on standby due to forecasted heavy snowfall.

Significant snowfall is expected from Sunday, according to forecasts from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute. Up to 40 centimeters of snow are predicted for Sarajevo and its surroundings on the last day of the weekend alone. An additional 15 centimeters per day could fall in the following week.

"KJKP 'RAD' d.o.o. Sarajevo's Winter Service will carry out its activities in accordance with the valid operational plan and work program for the winter service. Work will be carried out in the area of four city municipalities, respecting established priorities, with a focus on the accessibility of main roads, access to healthcare facilities, public institutions, as well as pedestrian routes of special importance," stated Rad.
