
The Railways of the Federation of BiH, led by Board President Nijaz Puzić, signed on 03 December 2014 contracts for public procurement of goods with six companies, four of which are domestic, it was announced from the FBiH Railways, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- The total value of the contracts amounts to approximately 785,000 BAM, and they were signed with the companies MINEL GENERAL ELECTRIC d.o.o. Belgrade, METALKA d.o.o. Sarajevo, ELEKTROREMONT d.d. Banovići, SMAL KOMERC d.o.o. Sarajevo, ZAGREB SIGNAL d.o.o. Zagreb, and FINING d.o.o. Gračanica - it was stated.
The concluded contracts relate to the procurement of spare parts for the repair of locomotives series 441 and E 52500, procurement of rubber-metal elements for the maintenance of rail vehicles, provision of traction motor revision services, procurement of lubricants, oils and related industrial products, procurement of spare parts for the BOMBARDIER type level crossing, and procurement of a crane for the workshop in Čapljina with a capacity of 20 tons and a crane for the workshop in Zenica with a capacity of 25 tons.
For all contracts, public procurement procedures were conducted, and their implementation will enable the FBiH Railways to continue technological processes, i.e., regular and secure supply of Bosnian economic entities and society as a whole.
