ŽEPČE Third day of search for a six-year-old boy

(Patria) - The third day of the search for a six-year-old boy who fell into a swollen stream on Tuesday afternoon in Begov Han near Žepče is underway.

Members of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, the Žepče Mountain Rescue Service, local residents, and the family members of the missing boy continued searching the Bosna River and its bed this morning. As the water levels of the Mračajska River and the Bosna have dropped, the area from where the boy disappeared to its confluence with the Bosna River was searched again.

"With the help of heavy machinery, areas with debris deposited by the flood were searched. The search will continue today on the water and on land, searching the riverbed and the banks along the Bosna River, as well as by boat. The FUCZ reviewed and analyzed the footage captured by FUCZ's unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) from the air during yesterday's search last night," stated the FUCZ.
